What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

Oh man, the username is old school - dates back to 6th grade computer games, when everybody had to make up cool player names instead of just using what they were born with. I was a giant nerd and wanted one name vague enough to be good for anything from ancient Rome to Star Wars. So I grabbed sigma, the Greek S, to match my real initial for a first name. And I'd been reading T.A. Barron's Merlin stories, which is where I got Galator for a last name. I've held onto it ever since. I find it's non-specific and unique, so it works in many places and I never have to worry about it being taken.
