LEO on why they call me 'Patachon': I lived in Berlin during the Eighties. While there, a French woman asked me what I did for a living. I tried telling her in French that I was on permanent holiday but I just couldn't find the right words: vacances permanantes(?), vacances sans cesse(?).

"Ah", she interrupted, finally understanding, "tu mêns une vie de Patachon."
