What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
When I was fourteen, I got a computer with a modem and had a friend whose mother ran a BBS. I was at a loss for a name, and had been heavily cautioned not to use my real one. I ate corn chips at lunch a lot, and that somehow inspired the friend in question to hand me a name.
It stuck. It's been stuck for a very long time. It doesn't matter how many times I try to shake it off, it's still there. I've embraced it.
