About
What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
catch-as-catch-can:
using any available means or method
Synonyms: aimless, arbitrary, desultory, erratic, haphazard, helter-skelter, hit-or-miss, scattered, slapdash, stray
Antonyms: methodical, nonrandom, orderly, organized, regular, systematic, systematized
I used this phrase among friends and got ribbed for it (apparently because seemingly nobody knows what it means). It became an inside joke, to the point where several of us have it tattooed on our bodies. I like to think of it as a general life philosophy, if only to counter my penchant for Type A behaviour.
