About
What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
When I was rather young, I had a Dr Seuss, Green Eggs and Ham read along book, that came with a cassette. Well, on the reverse side of the tape, it was blank, which led to my first forray into analog recording technology.
Fast-forward 10 or so years, and I find the tape in some box, and listen to it again. It cracks me up - it's fucking great. Amazingly enough, I was just as much a goofy kid back then as I am now, and because of this, I decided to respond to my mom's questions with various phrases along the lines of "Ookee gookee" and "Aka aka", etc etc...
Also, at this time was when Hotline was still really cool, and didn't suck so fucking bad like it does now. And as you may know, you need a name if you're on Hotline. Well, there you have it, "OokA MakA" was born, and I've kept the name ever since.
Hope you liked the story =)
