What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

My nickname is an old gaming reference.

I'm a mom to two kiddos. One was my foster child who we have adopted. One kiddo has ADD. The other has PTSD from the abuse my little one survived. I tend to respond to child welfare issues on Mefi.

I'm also involved with the care of my sister who was diagnosed with dementia at the age of 40. I am maintaining a blog about her, her diagnosis and what I learn about dementia.
