What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

I never did think it was a place for freaks. It changed my life in so many positive ways - kickstarted my writing career, helped me transition out of a job I hated, and kept me in touch with people I would have otherwise lost track of. I ran away from home with a writer from smug.com and we eloped to Vegas on our first date. I love the web. I can't believe something so fucking cool exists, and that anyone who wants to can use it.
