What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

I am an old user of the internet, and have also been using it for a long time. Recently made aware of weblogs, in large part by visiting MeFi, and now with a weblog of my own, where I told someone recently my posts are sort of like the conversation if Uncle Remus and Gary Larson played cards with Annie Dillard and Euell Gibbons...and all of them were stoned. We live in a rural southwest virginia county where there is ONE stop light....progressive living in the very slow lane. Come see us. If we're not home, the key is under the doormat.
