What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

I guess I got my name back when I was in University. I had been spending a lot of time up in North Toronto hanging out with a friend from school. Sometimes when I went to his house to pick him up he wouldn't be home so I'd just hang out with his mom. We'd watch movies and smoke cigarettes and stuff. One day his mom asked him if he'd mind calling me Uncle Dave. He didn't mind and neither does anyone else I know. So people call me Uncle Dave.

Also, I always have candy in my pockets. You know, suckers and stuff. I give it out to people and they say things like, "Yay! It's dirty Uncle Dave! And he's got candy!"

I don't know why they call me dirty.
