What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

Well, one time, I ran into this monkey in the jungle.

He had, like, glowing eyes or something.

Peering deeply into my soul, he asked if he could give me a name to use on MeFi. Naturally, with me being lost in the jungle and he being a soul-staring monkey monster, I had to capitulate.

The name that defected his lips rang in my ears for days: jgooden.

Normally, I wouldn't take the advice of a monkey, but after all, it is my first initial and last name crammed together like nuts and gum (together at last!), so I guess it's pretty good.
