About
What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
"gregor-e" was just the first lame thing that popped into mind when slashdot asked me to come up with a username. Things were all e-this and i-that back then, so it must have been an itch or something. Kind of feels like wearing a day-glo paisley hippy costume now, though. I'm banking on everyone forgetting the whole e-this i-that dotcom jargon and maybe it'll seem subliminally cool in a retro sort of way one of these days. But in retrospect, I wish I'd picked something more fun, like BeerIsGoodFood or CaptainCapsaicin or somesuch. Oh well - mediocrity is underrated yet forms the very fabric of our daily existence. At least, that's how we the mediocre console ourselves.
