About
What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
Why "FormlessOne"?
QuantumLink, the precursor to (::shudder::) AOL, had (as AOL still has) a 10-character username limit. I had used the following:
"RancidMeat"
"FormlesOne"
For obvious reasons, the second one managed to emerge victorious as a moniker. I've used variations on "Formless One" since then.
And, no, I don't use it in its Satanic context (I didn't realize it had such a context until well after its use.) It served as a simple commentary that, online, you could be anything at all - a normal, law abiding geek, a serial murderer, a Turing program, whatever. Just a voice in the virtual void.
Anyway, back to my donuts.
