What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

There used to be someone on the Guided by Voices Postal Blowfish list when I used to belong to it eons ago who was named Timo. I always used to enjoy his posts, which he would always end with a phrase like "Give me some water."

I liked the way it sounded, and decided that would be a cool nick to distinguish me from the unwashed multitude of other Tim Thompson clones. Since then, it has become Tim O'Thompson, Tim O/Thompson, etc.
