I was on the HS newspaper and had blonde hair, and so resembled the Milo Bloom character from Bloom country, also there was a show called Galaxy High, which had a nerdy character named Milo De Venus. Somehow these morphed into "MiloV" for some self-published short stories and an early BBS system I ran at my house (an IMS CPM system, 3 x 8" floppies, and a couple of 300baud modems). There are a few other people on the internet who go by varients of milov, so I added two zeros to make it unique, then eventually switched to oo's because some random site wouldn't let me use numbers.
