About
What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
FAQ 1: Sotonohito is pronounced "soe toe no hee toe", and is probably best shortened to "soto". But you can call me anything as long as it isn't late to dinner.
FAQ 2: Why that name? First off, it isn't actually Japanese even though a Japanese speaker could probably puzzle out some sort of meaning from it. I used to go as "gaijin" on a few forums. As my study of Japanese progressed and I started poking into various ways to pronounce the kanji I used the on'yomi ("Chinese" pronunciation which isn't really Chinese but rather the Japanese mangling of it) of the characters in gaijin to come up with sotonohito and decided I liked the way it sounded.
