I'm an assistive technology geek, disability rights advocate, and public transit supporter. I do a lot of reading, more screens than paper, more pictures than words, more non-fiction, now.
I trained in three manual trades and have been obsoleted thrice by computer technology. Now retired, former desktop publisher, tech writer, graphic artist, civil engineering drafter, typesetter; braille transcriber, ASL interpreter.
Apple user since 1984.
