About
What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
Nickname? It's just an abbreviation of my real name. Meh.
Anyways, I've been a long-time lurker and I'm glad to be a real member of MeFi. :)
Oh yeah, I'm that dude who made the (mass-linked) infographic on How News Travels on the Internet (link probably dead). I was also the web strategy geek for 2004 Libertarian presidential candidate Michael Badnarik (raised $290K--28% of all fundraising--via the Internet in under 2 months with a late-breaking strategy).
Right now (2010) I'm working on helping propel the next liberty movement in a way that can't be fucked over/up by the establishment like the Tea Party thing was. That's pretty much my only claim to Intarweb fame (for now).
