What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

in 1998, i went to chicago over spring break to visit a friend of mine attending northwestern. one night we were driving around town listening to the radio. there was a interview with roni size. right in the middle of the interview my friend turns off the radio and in a mock radio dj voice begins to ask me interview questions. i shoot back answers in the nastiest cockney accent i can muster. halfway through the "interview" my friend asked, "and what are you called again?" "EEEGOR EX AYE! X, BECAUSE IT'S EXTRA. A, BECAUSE IT'S EXTRA." and this became my alter ego for the rest of the week. when we got back to his dorm we wrote the mantra x, because it's extra. a, because it's extra on everyone's dry erase board (yes, it was sort of a tmbg rip.). ever since then i've used "igorxa" as my username anywhere i could. i vary the format sometimes, either igorxa or igor x a or igor xa. a google search for "igorxa" will return nothing but links to things i did, so it's my own little way of being unique on the web.
