What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
solotoro, the lonely bull. It's a trumpet piece Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass played, one of my favorites (I used to play trumpet myself). When I created this account, I'd been listening to it quite a bit lately since I had gotten a new record player the Christmas before, though I've used the handle in other contexts since '96. Both because of the song and because it fits my lowest-energy state, socially speaking.
While I've had accounts under this and other names online on various platforms, I don't maintain much of a web presence anymore, so other than my mefi.social mastodon (which I only rarely post to) I don't think it makes sense to list old sites you won't actually find me at.
In other news: I guess I garden croutons?
