About
What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
It started as the most deliberately script-kiddie nick I could think up (ph3arless) in a fit of IRC sarcasm one day and has sorta evolved in the decade since. It was Ph33r for a while and settled down to Phearless when i got too lazy to type any numerics. It turned into Phearlez to tease a gay friend one day and somehow never made it back.
Or maybe I really was a l33t skr1pt d00d and I'm just making this up now. No way for you to know, really.
Additionally, I find myself having to look up the same old posts on credit issues over and over (or repeating myself) so I'm going to link a few here:
I wrote about credit report items (tradelines) and their ages here, then charge-offs, statutes of limitation and other things here and then validation, FCRA and FDCPA laws and suits here.
I wrote a little about FICO scoring and breakdowns here. Scody wrote a fantastic debt validation letter here.
