What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

My father's online nickname is his dad's first initial and middle name then the word son. His is cdruryson and now mine is grobertson.
I started using the internet on my father's computer sometime around '96. Seeing pages built by all kinds of people on places like geocities and angelfire really impressed me and made me think that this is a place for everyone. I didn't really think about freaks or had the perception that the Internet was a place made up of them.
