What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

Lurking since 2000 or so. Trying to be less of a jerk every day. Batting abut .300 on that.

Nickname explanation: while I was bored on public transit in the Midwest US city where I lived, I imagined a horror movie set in the NYC suburbs where I grew up. I theorized that a US Navy weapons experiment at Calverton could get out of hand, and huge crustaceans could crawl out of Peconic Bay, level the Suffolk County seat, then turn south to crush the Hamptons in their buttery claws.

Warning: may fanboy about Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, Rogue, Huntress, Oracle, or Black Canary at the slightest provocation.
