About
What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
"Pontifex" stems from one of the titles of the early roman emperors; they considered themselves "bridge-builders" between men and gods. Which is, I think, the highest goal a politician can aspire to: to be someone who guides a process of unifying conflicting positions.
The "-primus" part got tacked on since it seems to be a popular nick and therefore taken on most boards. ;)
Politically, I'd consider myself slightly left-leaning by European standards, which translates to "frothing at the mouth commie-hippy" in the American political spectrum. Oh, and I'm a fan of Karl Popper specifically and the scientific method in general, which should tell you about as much about me as you need to know to lead a civilized discussion.
