What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

Self applied screen name. Self indulgent. I am a nurse and work the nightshift.

First got on the internet when it became mainstream. Shortly after the AOL supply/demand fiasco. As a lemming went with AOL of course! ;) It seemed like it was easier to surf deeper back then. Even the main pages of the big guys had off beat links. Now it's all "white bread" ending in video clips. I still like to read online.
