What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

It's actually just my initials. I used to have creative handles and all that jazz, but that really changed in 1999:

My first handle (starting in 1995) was Morpheus because I was interested in mythology at the time and it seemed pretty innocuous. I occasionally got asked if I was a Gaiman/Sandman fan, but it wasn't a big deal. Then, The Matrix came out, and it was all downhill from there. Now, I'll just use my initials until a movie comes out with a character named JMOZ.
