What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

Not a nick. But I'm sure that isn't a surprise. But I guess I got it from not wanting to give up my middle name...

As far as the the net goes, I built my first computer in '91, and promptly discovered Legend of the Red Dragon (a text based MUD on a local BBS). Of course, I never thought it wasn't a place for freaks - MUDs are for freaks, mostly. Then I got on at a local university's system through my mom's proffessorial account, got email, and that was that. Plus, it was cool that all of Syracuse Univ's computers were named after creatures from Godzilla...
