featherboa has been my alter-ego for as long as I have been using the interweb (over 20 years now). It came from being a fan of the Manic Street Preachers, whose devotees dress in an idiosyncratic uniform of spraypainted shirts, tiaras and... feather boas. Originally meant as a stopgap, i identify myself almost as much as 'featherboa', as i do 'Tara'. Weird, that.
