About

What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

Many interests, too little time. I play guitar, and have been on some famous recordings (with artists like Stanley Clarke, George Duke, Al Jarreau, Airto Moreira, Diane Reeves, Sonny Rollins, Pages), and have also been involved with computers since the Atari 8-bit era. I was the co-owner/programmer/technical writer of a very popular software company for the Atari ST/TT/Mega STe line of computers, called CodeHead Technologies, where I wrote many of the programs in 680x0 assembly language (along with my esteemed partner John Eidsvoog, who also contributed enormously). And I have an extensive background in writing and proofreading, and was West Coast Editor of a popular computer magazine (now defunct).

Oh yes, I'm also a dedicated amateur road cyclist, averaging 200-300 miles a week. That's all. Signing off. I'm done.
