What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

My name is Andrew Press, I'm 28, I live in Phoenix, Arizona and Metafilter is by far my favorite website on the whole of the internet. I spend more time on this website each day than I spend doing anything other single thing.
I like to think I'm a decent graphic design/artist person - you can find my art on www.doubleapress.com and www.bageena.com. Much of my writing can also be found on Bageena. For more information about me personally, you can always find me via Myspace or Facebook or something too, I guess. From my experience with Mefi, if ya'll want to find me, you will.
In the meantime, I read everything that crosses the front page and I'm thankful to the admins and the community who makes such a great website available. Metafilter is good for the mind and soul.
