What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

I first started using the Internet after my GEnie account, when Netcom started offering UNIX-based Internet service in L.A. I signed up for an account, logged in, tried to send an email and it deposited me into vi. I cried.

I first started using the web after one of my best friends showed me NCSA Mosaic in 1993. I launched my now-moribund website the following year. It's still up, in all its non-mobile-friendly badly-hand-coded HTML glory. People still occasionally look at it, to my amazement.
