What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

the nick stems from a discussion with friends back in college -- they were discussing different people they knew, whom they referred to as either "fuzzies" or "geeks".

fuzzies were non-hard science major types -- lit, arts, anything that didn't end in a latin-ish suffix.

geeks, of course ... well, we all know what geeks are.

they couldn't decide on what i was. i was a lit major at the time, but also the most wired person in the group. i'd written a couple books and a few plays, and was a more hardcore hardware and software geek than anyone else. go figure. so, fuzzygeek it was, and so fuzzygeek it shall be.
