What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

well, back in '97 before starcraft came out, i wanted a k3wl online gaming name. so I came up with mutagen cause i thought it fit the game. and I kept using it for a login. i use use 'crisco' sometimes cause my friends would ask 'where did chris go?' and abbreviated it. so there ya go, two nicks in one. i first used the internet proper in late '94 when i signed up with netcom. i still have that email address even through netcom's mergers. i had wanted internet access long before that but never really figured out how. i did the bbs and compuserve thing before that.
