Historian, writer and webber. Editor of London Reconnections and Lapsed Historian (amongst other things).

First used "Garius" as a Romanisation of my own name whilst playing Civilization 2 back in the days before t'internet. It stuck, and has been my handle online ever since as by chance I seemed to have fluked into something relatively unique.
