What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" A long time ago in a magical place called 1996, I used to download MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3 format music files from the internet and write them onto Compact Disc-Recordable media. This process was called burning MP3s.

At the time relatively few people had heard of MP3 files (WinAMP wasn't even around yet, let alone the iPod), and not many people owned CD burners. So burnmp3s sounded like a distinctive enough handle to use online.
