About
What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
Despite being quite original, there is at least another pecus. So much for original nicknames born in teenage summer nights...
I got online in 1994. I had been reading about it in Macworld and Wired and was getting very curious. I got Adam Engst's Internet Starte Kit for Macintosh and started begging for access at my University. I got access, in the form of VT100 simple shell dialup. I worked my way from there and am now CEO of a small company focused on Front End development and web performances.
