About
What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
I wasn't always Jinkeez. Back in the BBSing days of yore, I'd dial up to a local Bulletin Board System (at 1200 baud, mind you), and post in various discussion groups under the name Chainsaw--after the character with the same nickname in "Summer School".
Once I started using IRC, I started nick-colliding with other Chainsaws so often that I just decided I'd best change to a more unique nickname before things got to be a pain.
My nick, Jinkeez, is just a weird spelling of "Jinkies," which is an exclamation of surprise used occasionally on Scooby-Doo... Not the most thrilling story, I know, but there ya go.
