About
What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
"Spilling my guts." Goodhelp was a name for a website I began when learning how to make "good" web pages for community groups which always need "good help." That grew into a directory which later, became obsolete. I've kept the "goodhelp" handle and have used it ever since 1994 or so.
The first day I surfed the net, saw the variety and copped the "public expression" vibe. Anyone with a computer could, and still can, publish their writing.
Sites read best when the writer has something to say, expressing a point of view, IMHO. -- Greg
