About
What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
"Web goddess" is a bit of a joke. It was just something a friend started calling me because of the time I spent on the internet. When I mentioned that I was thinking of creating a new personal site, he discovered that web-goddess.co.uk was available. (I was living in London at the time.) That's where it started. Of course, once I moved to Australia the .co.uk seemed a little inappropriate. Now I'm just plain ol' web-goddess.org.
But actually, yeah, I'm an American. I worked in London, met an Aussie, moved Down Under with him, and got married in Vegas (complete with Elvis). We like living in Sydney.
I also run a fansite devoted to the author Roald Dahl at http://www.roalddahlfans.com.
