Alternate explanation: he's actually 25 years old, but things are just that bad in Russia that he looks 3 times his age.

He seems happy, but honestly all I can think is that busking is a hard way to feed yourself, especially at that age.

I'm glad to know you're never too old to rock.
But I think I already knew this. I've been to RUSH concerts where there were literally 3 generations attending together -- grandparents, parents, and teenage kids.
Part of me finds this disconcerting. Another part of me finds it utterly charming and wonderful.

Yeah, some of those lyrics can get pretty stupid. Meanwhile, Lennon can write "yellow matter custard dripping from a dead dog's eye" and it's just... so much better. Go figure.

You mean, like Makka, or Robert Plant, or Judas Priest, or Jethro Tull...
Not sure if there are any older acts than that gang who are actually touring and not just doing PBS "My Music" specials. Even the Stones haven't toured in quite a few years at this point.

I've seen Neil Young, BB King, Iggy & the Stooges... you don't have to convince me. Some of the best crowds I've seen are at ancient pub rock gigs.

Leonard Cohen (born 1934) was touring Europe as of 2010, it seems.
And Chuck Berry (born 1927) is still playing at least once a month, though mostly regional focused around St. Louis. But he's not looking to good in the recent videos I've found. I saw him 10 years ago at Blueberry Hill and he was still schralping it.

I saw The Pretty Things about ten years ago, and I enjoyed the show immensely, but, man oh man, they looked really, really old. Probably older than they were in fact.
