I know a lot of musicians say audiences are much more interested and engaged in classic americana in Europe but this is just RIDICULOUS!

It's interesting that in the first video the cows are *very* alert. Those aren't cows that are wondering if you are about to feed them. The ears are forward and they are all staring.
In the second video not so much. Unfortunately, due to lack of a control group, it's impossible to tell if that's because they are used to it now or because the musicians turned around.

Looks like these are in fact unrelated cows to what's in the earlier post. Did something change with what was at the first link in that older post?

Yeah, the first link is now dead, but the first link in the previous post was the same as the first link in this post.
I don't know if this means anything, but as the OP of the first post I'm fine keeping this one up, despite my earlier note. Especially since the first link in mine has been removed and is unavailable.

I find most herd animals will be attracted towards strange noises, particularly music. I don't know why. I sang the nyan cat song to some Llamas we own that don't even like people very much and they started coming up to me. Maybe some of the notes in music remind them of their young's calls?

Longtime reader me, now finally inspired to create an account and comment on something, because I really want to add to this discussion.
I play the highland bagpipe, and have discovered exactly the same thing as these gents. The first time was on Islay on the west coast of Scotland, when I innocently played next to a field full of cows. It was surprising and then hilarious when they all came *running* over to have a listen. When I'd finished they seemed to understand that that was it, and they peacefully ambled back over to where they'd come from.
Since then I've played for cows at every opportunity, and they always come to listen, all over the UK and Ireland. I have yet to play for continental (non English-speaking?) cows, but will get around to it one day.
(I even played once for a field full of cows while standing on the roof of a narrow-boat, going at walking pace along a canal. After a little while I had a trail of cows following the boat, pied-piper style. Just uploaded this video to prove it.)
