Dratch & Fey's 1999 two-woman show. (SLYT) The audio is terrible, the video's no better, the tracking on the VHS tape should have been adjusted... and it's still well worth the 45 minutes.

I went to college with her and we were acquaintance-friends and she was indeed excellent to hang out with. Based on what I see of fb college friends who have remained close with her, she is still excellent to hang out with.

I always considered Dratch highly underrated and always hoped that her and Patton would create a spinoff sitcom from King of Queens, the two of them were a great, albeit short-lived team. Any chance they can still do it?

I watched a big chunk of this performance and I was impressed by how raw and funny both Dratch and Fey are in it. Fey's got a reputation as a bit of a goody-goody these days, so it was nice to see that she can work blue. And Dratch has always been one of my favorites. If she looked more like a typical Hollywood starlet, we'd see her everywhere, in everything.

If Steve Buscemi can get as much work as he does, then there's really no reason Dratch couldn't. If the world weren't run by assholes.

In her bio, she says she got discourage because all she could get cast as was very butch "wacky lesbian" roles.
