To paraphrase him: Harassing Jim Crawford with Cool Game Recommendations

Remember the surprising stealth thing-that's-great Frog Fractions (previously)? When creator Jim Crawford (also previously) and his team released its successfully Kickstarted sequel, they won't tell anyone, and will leave everyone to find it for themselves. Enter the unofficial Frog Fractions 2 twitter account, which bugs Jim about a different possible culprit every day. And for those who didn't back the Kickstarter and thus won't be automatically notified when The Jig Is Up (TM), there's always IsTheJigUpYet, which also attempts to guess at FF2's identity (albeit using a sliiiiiightly different method).

For those seeking the game themselves, a hint: it has been revealed that the game's release date cannot possibly be earlier than April 9, 2015, the one-year anniversary of the end of the Kickstarter campaign.

Jim does a podcast with the Kingdom of Loathing guys called Video Games Hot Dog. given some of their discussions there i'm inclined to believe this game is still being developed. the kickstarter was for enough money to pay his rent for 18 months, so i'm guessing we'll see it closer to the end of the year.

of course maybe that's what he wants us all to think.

Just as long as this thread isn't Frog Fractions 2.

There have been some weird fugue states Video Games Hot Dog have gone into since Jim joined that make me think Video Games Hot Dog is Frog Fractions 2.

I'm extremely excited for Frog Fractions 2, whatever form it takes: maybe a video game, maybe a phone number that you call and it answers in your own voice, maybe a night when there are two moons in the sky, maybe a failed city ordinance in a small ontario township, maybe a substance that looks like water but only makes you thirstier when you drink it, or maybe a moment of inexplicable quiet that sweeps across a room full of people. I just can't wait.

My other guess is that Frog Fractions 2 was Frog Fractions 1 and Jim Crawford can travel through time

Also, all joking aside, Shower With Your Dad Simulator (NSFW for pixel dick) is clearly Frog Fractions 2.

What if Frog Fractions 2 is actually a literal jig?

A jig you dance or a jig that helps you align and secure workpieces for machining operations? If the latter, I'm terrified/fascinated of what Frog Fractions 2 is designed to build.

Frog Fractions 2 is the tap water in San Jose?

Frog tag but no fractions tag?

You lose, BiggerJ. Now you must begin the next level with a 20 zorkmid penalty and a spatial dislocator.

Fun fact, someone from my city made today's Frog Fractions 2.

I think to be true to the first entry it needs to start with something that feels almost but not quite like a fairly conventional game.

256: Fixed. I suck at either Double Fanucci or Fooblitzky.

What if speculating about the nature of Frog Fractions 2 is Frog Fractions 2?

We'll never find it poring over every indie game we find on the internet. Frog Fractions 2 has been in inside us, each of us, all along.

The Library of Babel website featured in another recent post on the blue definitely has what it takes to conceal Frog Fractions 2.
