I adore this. I think I'm a Goth at heart, thought a rainbow sparkly one. Privately, of course, ahem.

proof that all borders mark those places on maps where opposing armies finally got tired of fighting each other. Except these aren't borders so much as happy smiley enunciations of abysmal truth where even God is a hot pink blanket that won't keep you warm.

or words to that effect.

They're Nihilisas, Donny, nothing to be afraid of. Other than that garish color scheme.

I've seen a recent resurgence of "De-motivational Memes", like this ongoing series of Kinda Spirit Animals 1, 2, 3, 4, and this collection of unsplash 'unmotivationals' (warning: buzzfeed)

I was wondering about that too. I guess "God" makes sense, but man, fuck that typeface.

Maybe it's obvious but this is a parody of Lisa Frank brand graphics popular in the 80s.

I think this might be my life. Mostly because I have Clicker Heroes open in another tab right now.

Wow, I love the combination of a strong dose of nostalgia (I can practically smell that particular plastic-y scent of a newly christened Lisa Frank folder), and the current of dark humor. It's twisted in the best possible way.

Also the name of this tumblr is awesome.

Lisa Frank brand graphics popular in the 80s.

They were still quite popular in the early nineties as well, at least in my elementary school.
