La Fábrica is a former Barcelona concrete factory that was partly torn down, converted into an architecture firm, with an adjoining private residence, and inspired a neighbouring block of flats.

Can I just say that I've always loved the phrase "block of flats"? It always sounds very futuristic and utopian.

I can't believe there is only one other comment on this post!

I've been fascinated by this building since first seeing a very few images in an architecture book i bought years ago. Thank you for letting me finally see more of this amazing building and for the post of the block of flats which are just as fantastic and fantastical as La Fabrica. So incredible.

Wow, that's groovy! Not a big fan of the outside view, but the interior courtyard view is super-cool!
