I guess I had no reason to think these wouldn't be horrifying.

Spider mom seems to be doing ok. That baby looks healthy and fairly content. Why go hating on a single mother just because she has a non-standard "life"style?

That short film has basically killed the whole Shabby Chic esthetic for me.

Also, the Thing under the bed needs to spell out some scary words with those blocks. I can't speak for the photographer, obviously, but I insist that the macabre haunts in my unliving service show that extra bit of creativity and initiative if they don't want to be sent back to the Nightmare Vats for... reconditioning.

Nice house. Cute kid.

Really wish it weren't called "Black Lullaby". That means something different to me now.

It spells out "DADDY" which, in this case, seems pretty scary.

If you think that's good enough, well bravo for your haunts. I don't want to sound judgy, because it takes a villiage to create a vengeful wraith, as the saying goes, but I prefer going that extra blood-stained mile. For the craftsmanship and pride in your work.

Would it have been too much, for example, to spell something in the Dutch language?

Amazing. That last picture of the Devil is exactly like a vivid mental image I still remember having at age five. Not exactly, of course - I saw the Devil as fat, like a Buddha, and I imagined him coming up through the floor of the kindergarten, because another kid had just asked a teacher "if the Devil wanted to, could he come up through the floor right now" and she said yes he could.

Oh man, I hate that dream where you're being menaced by a horrific demon from the closet and suddenly you realize you're in your underwear...

Was about to post something about Arthur Tress, then realized he was already mentioned in the post. Regardless, Tress previously and here. We had a coffee table book of his when I was a kid; for my money a couple of them are still incredibly disturbing images.
