Sunday's Investment Tip: Snark Inc.

Sunday's Investment Tip: Snark Inc. This wasn't the sort of snark I was looking for but it's too amusing to pass over. Worth singling out: the Globalization game; the Snark, Snarquila and Serf commercials (this last one good enough to go legit, imho); the Corporate Culture documentary and the Careers questionnaire. All in all, healthy anti-capitalist fun for the whole family! [Click on "View"; Flash required.]

That was about as pointed as that cancelled Fred Savage sitcom.

That was the kind of snark I was looking for! :)

I recently used the word "snark" in an email to a friend. She replied saying something about dancing washing machines. I was quite confused. Apparently she hadn't heard the word before and had looked it up. Sort of.

In a similar vein, who knew that FPP was actually a "theatre group dedicated to the integration of people who have developmental disabilities"? It seems they get good reviews.

"Snark" is a great word, I'll grant you that.

The Snarkout Boys and the Avocado of Death, by Daniel Pinkwater.

Also, snarkout. (His website is yummy, too.)

Closure time: OK, so everyone hated my link. For this I sacrificed my Sunday post (which was all about how today's New York Times was right to wax lyrical about dining out in Lisbon) and had to put up with donkeyschlong granting me stuff and my friends generously patronizing me. Never again! :)
