Queer Games Bundle 2022

"Purchasing the Queer Games Bundle [Pay what you can edition] is a direct action that you can take right now to support queer people in a life changing way and in exchange you get over 500 amazing, heartfelt, fun, and radical games. "

With hundreds of games, there’s plenty to keep you busy for a while. I haven’t played even close to all these games, but if you’re looking for a place to start, there are a few I’ve played and can recommend: A Mortician’s Tale, one of Polygon’s best games of 2017; Later Daters, an elderly dating simulator; and A Normal Lost Phone, a mystery game contained in a digital smartphone. - Polygon

A very merry Pride month to all, and what better way to celebrate than by putting some money in queer developers' pockets and getting more than 500 games (and zines and other such goodies) in return? There's a bit of everything in here, from a bird-run grocery store to a meditation on the decay and connection both inherent to today's internet. - RPS

This is fantastic. I've already purchased it.
And.
It seems like these are 90% weird sexy-sex type games? Even the #physicalgames stuff is basically standard sex role-playing.
I wish we could create and celebrate queer content that isn't so hyper-focused on fucking. Being queer is about so much more than simply having sex and doing stuff with our parts.
Just like everything else.

I feel you're being unfair to the contents of the bundle. Of the 164 "Physical" games, there are maybe 10-15 that deal with intimacy and/or adult content.

And while there are a lot of Visual Novels/Dating Sims (20% of the bundle), those are not necessarily "sexy-sex type games". VNs are just another way to tell a story with choices. In fact, I'm pretty sure that there are more horror VNs included than adult ones.

Out of the ones I played (I don't usually play ttrpgs or VNs), I highly recommend Dandelions and Tapei Metro Quest for making me cry and bit and also doing interesting things with the genre/medium. Taipei Metro Quest also introduced me to this artist which is entirely my vibe and sung in Taiwanese, which is a rare combo.
