Why the hell would you not keep the name Jughead after an ordeal like that? JUGHEAD FOREVER!

Just chiming in to say that Jughead is a fabulous name for a dog, whether or not its head is currently stuck in a jug.

Just an FYI, that although the link is to MSN, the content is from the Washington Post, so if you are observing today's strike by respecting the request not to interact with the Post today, you may wish to avoid this link.

1. Does anyone know why the linked words "A chicken was missing toes. People sent him over 60 pairs of tiny shoes." are in the middle of this, completely without context?
2. Bad form for them to put such a mystery link to the Washington Post, on strike day.

There's another, similar link, also to the Washington Post, further down. I think that MSN syndicated the article from there.

Wapo has a feature area for good news stories - little things like this that have happy endings - and this story and all of those embedded links are from that section.

TFA: Both dogs are in the same foster home

Wait, so either the foster home renamed them thusly (again, why?) or the animal shelter/vet did? What the hell, Texas?

JHarris, I think this is just something MSN does. Some news sites are built with this weird idea that what a reader wants most in the world is to stop reading the current article and read something else. So some automated system sprinkles "READ THIS OTHER THING" links throughout the article. MSN is one of the worst because it doesn't try to distinguish these from the article body, so it just ends up looking incredibly confusing.
