BBC Test the Nation: Popular Music.
UK centric [slightly] quiz in the Test The Nation series [- but allows a 'not UK' option.]
Who did write the theme from 'The Office' Handbags & Gladrags'?

47/70 (I also had to guess the UK top ten questions, and I live in the UK.)

Mannfred Mann?

Hope I didn't spoil it for anyone...

45/70 for me, too. But, I *DID* guess a lot...

46/70 for me too... sheesh, and I thought I did better. I also guessed on most of the British-centric questions.

59/70, but I know I got one wrong when I "mis-clicked" on the wrong Audrey Hepburn film.

44/70. Had to guess on a lot of them, though.

62! Here's a page on Handbags and Gladrags: The Complete History (that was one of the eight I got wrong).

47. Badly downhill on the last section, scoring a miserable 7/18, only fractionally better than a chicken would have done pecking at a mouse.

45/70 for me. Not bad, as anyone who has received one of my MeFi swaps will confirm..

53 out of 70 for me, and a whopping great big "I must get out more often" sign.

37 - Crap. But not relatively.

53. ciderwoman, you want to get together sometime?

46 - and i'm mildly suprised

43/70, twice. Although I didn't change my answer on "Handbags & Gladrags" - for some reason, I thought that would be cheating.

49/70

55 for me. I only got four wrong out of 43 on the first three sections and then it all fell apart on the last two.

I'm 47? Oh...

38/70. As sort of half-assed retribution for copping to the lowest score posted so far, I'll point out that doing really well on that test might well indicate a taste in awful music, inasmuch as you're being rewarded for knowing trivia about showtunes, boy bands and Kylie Minogue.

Oops - just noticed ed\26h scored lower than me. Still . . .

41/70 - pretty poor, but i knew that.

47.

I do feel dirty about some of those I did know though...

Same result and same reaction as quarsan, a surprised 46... surprised because I did better than I thought and because that was much more fun than I expected, thanks dash_slot.
