Philip Beesley is an architect who also creates wonderful kinetic sculptures. You can see them in motion on his Youtube page.
It doesn't seem very kinetic at all. More like stuff just blowing in the wind a little bit. I am not sure if the videos do it justice but I want to see it look like it is alive if it is going to be called hylozoic.
